Hockey Helps Signs Max Pacioretty!

Hockey Helps is very happy and proud to announce that it has come to a multi-year exclusive endorsement agreement with Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty! Pacioretty will serve as one of Hockey Helps’ player ambassadors and will be involved with a number of future initiatives.

Pacioretty electrified Canadiens fans in the 2011-12 season, setting new career highs in goals, assists, and points. He finished second in team goals with 33 markers, third in assists with 32, a combination that was enough to see him atop the Canadiens overall scoring totals. Pacioretty was an inspiration to players across the entire NHL, having returned from a severe neck injury and concussion suffered in March 2011. For his dedication and perseverance to the game of hockey, he was named the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy winner.

The 2007 first round pick of the Canadiens, Pacioretty has blossomed quickly into a bonafide star in hockey-crazy Montreal. Playing on the Habs top line (affectionately known to fans as the “Two and a Half Men” line) with David Desharnais and Erik Cole, Pacioretty emerged as a scoring force every time he stepped on the ice. This should come as no surprise to fans, as he scored his first NHL goal on his very first shot, beating Martin Brodeur in his first game in January 2009. The 6’2”, 196 lb. winger has now played in 202 career games, all with Montreal, and has 53 regular season goals and 114 career points. He played one season with the Michigan Wolverines in 2007-08, notching 15 goals and totalling 38 points in just 36 games and helping to lead the team to the semi-finals of the NCAA Frozen Four.

Pacioretty is active in the community, and has established his own Foundation at Montreal General Hospital to help raise funds for a new MRI machine, making him very popular both on and off the ice in Montreal. With a new contract that will keep him with the Canadiens for the next six seasons, fans are looking forward to seeing just how high this star can rise.
